[Book Giveaway] Signed ARC copy of Sweet Shadows by Tera Lynn Childs

Summary (from Goodreds):
Three teenage descendants of Medusa, now united, must claim their heritage to fight the monsters escaped from the abyss.
Gretchen may have known she was a descendant of Medusa long before her sisters--after all, she's spent her life fighting the monsters that escape the abyss--but that doesn't mean it will be easy to teach the other girls the ropes.
Greer has pressing social commitments on her plate and precious little time to train in her newfound powers. But that wretched second sight won't leave her alone, and her fabled heritage seems to be creeping into her fashionable life.
Grace has worries closer to home--like why her brother, Thane, has disappeared. He's hiding something. Could it possibly be related to the secret heritage the triplets share?

  2. Hmmmm... I don't have a name for it, but my monster would only have a large shapeless mass for a body, and where its head should be, there would only be a huge mouth that is filled with rows and rows of razor sharp teeth. Its tongue would be long and razor tipped like a whip that, when it touched its victim, would paralyze it. By Kari XD my email is littlemermaidaz@yahoo.com Thank you very much XD

  3. A great winged creature with talons and a long snout. It kinda looks like a dragon with no tail and is about the size of a black bear. It likes to eat anything that dares to venture into it's territory, and has only one enemy, the fae. It's also smart enough to know where the fae's territory starts and ends, and that it shouldn't cross into it. I don't have an official name for it yet, right now it's just The Beast(s) in my WIP. There's only about a dozen in existence.

    1. Hey do you mind coming up with a monster? It's kind of what I wanted everyone to do.

  5. My monster would be the size of a cat, it would have 5 nostrils each with a special weapon such as poison or maybe an endless supply of blades. It will have talons dripping its liquid acid all over your body. It will have the reddest eyes you've ever seen and with those eyes it will grab your soul. And this thing will be desguised as a sweet innocent little girl! :)

  6. My monster would look like an animated version of a VW Beetle and would be furry and lovable but would chew your head off if you didn't drive it to the bookstore every now and then. :D

  7. My monster would be similar to the Monster Book of Monsters from Harry Potter, but it would be more cat-like. And you'd have to scratch it behind the ears to keep it from biting.

  8. My monster would walk on its knuckles like a gorilla and have scaly green skin. It would have large pointy ears and milky yellow eyes. Its mouth would be wide and full of spikey teeth. It lives in the forests and survives off of the travelers that wander off of the path.

  9. My monster is the size and shape of an average human child. From far away it looks fairly normal, but as you get closer you realize it's anything but. The first difference you'd probably notice is its lack of eyes. Its grayish face is a complete blank slate except for its mouth. The monster has a constant lunatic grin pasted on its face. Inside it mouth are rows and rows of needle-like teeth that seem not to all fit in. Its fingers are abnormally long and clawed, typically coated in the blood of its most recent victim. You can usually sense this creature's arrival by the unearthly, haunting singing coming from its direction. By Krista, My email is krista37yay@yahoo.com

  10. My monster would kind of look like invader zim, but be yellow, and it will have pink and purple eyes, and shoot lightning out of its eyes, and sing like taylor swift, and be able to build/invent anything, and yup.

  11. My monster would have the body of a centipede with the face of a human. It would move with lightning speed and be able to lash out with its super long tongue that has hooks on it so that it can hook on to its victims.
